about

I'm a 3d artist passionate about 3d.  I've been in the arch-viz industry since 2002, creating mostly architectural renderings and animations.  II use a combination of 3D software and a variety of rendering engines.  I also have a background in architectural photography as well as a part 107 drone pilots certificate.  I have had the privilege to win several design awards including AIA Design and ASAI.  I've also had the privilege to speak at conference events such as Autodesk University, RTC, VisDay, and American Society of Architecture Illustrators  .  I've been an online instructor for The Gnomon Workshop, Blackspectacles.com and Autodesk University.  Since 2009 I've been on the 3ds Max beta team providing input into the design / architecture of 3ds Max software.  In 2003 I was involved in an animated short nominated at SIGGRAPH, and in 2006 my animated short played in AMC movie theatres nationwide. I'm currently an owner of TILTPIXEL, which is a studio dedicated to creating renderings and animations for architects, developers, and brokers in the build environment.
