I think I found ano...me being the same anonymous...
I think I found another way to it...you could also import the geometry you changed and combine it with the 'tweaked and ready to go' max file, right? Then you would only have to re-assign materials to the changed geometry...tweaked materials that is. This would take some smart exporting but since max imports everything with the same origin there won't be too much trouble. Hmmm...I like.

keep up the good work by the way.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4507781040981315140.post-21647046977093982262009-10-27T12:43:11.500-05:002009-10-27T12:43:11.500-05:00That's a good question. Then I'll go back to SU.Ramy Hannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03676633006416915737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4507781040981315140.post-22620230745678836322009-10-27T11:56:44.098-05:002009-10-27T11:56:44.098-05:00@Ramy. Unfortunately I'm only able to use Max8.
Question: When you've tweaked your materials in Max (eg for textures) and you want to change something about your geometry, which you would do in SU. How do you make sure you don't have tweak all over again when you import the new file??Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4507781040981315140.post-8821442661145091432009-10-26T06:44:49.423-05:002009-10-26T06:44:49.423-05:00wow...this thing make me jealous...!!wow...this thing make me jealous...!!Darul Design™https://www.blogger.com/profile/10142841460168829698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4507781040981315140.post-16138790330298539152009-10-21T21:13:04.464-05:002009-10-21T21:13:04.464-05:00Totally awesome work !!!Totally awesome work !!!Andrew Glazebrookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10561008286443964427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4507781040981315140.post-34062355615878001472009-10-12T23:57:04.795-05:002009-10-12T23:57:04.795-05:00Thanks guys.
