It&amp;#39;s something that I find a lot of tutorials on, but nothing really set in stone. I know that 3ds max, vray, mental ray, and so forth is more or less, how one sees fit. to keep a steady animation, before you start...</title><content type='html'>John,&lt;br /&gt;to keep a steady animation, before you start keying, set your &amp;quot;Default In/Out Tangents for New Keys&amp;quot; (the button next to left of the Set Key button)from bezier to linear (the straight line).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;That will fix those pesky smooth in/outs. There are occasions where I want the whole animation one speed. Lastly, I render my animations in 3ds max but it takes forever to get a decent render. Especially a 30 second one. Is that normal?
